Forget the pork belly, canola, and coffee futures markets. The more exciting play this month is Irish whiskey. A start-up enterprise named Dingle Distillery is seeking cash on the barrelhead from investors willing to part with 5000 euros to get their name stamped on the birth of its first 500 “limited edition” casks of single malt and then take delivery in five years. These could make for a gift like none other or, the company says, lead to walloping financial returns of up to 300 percent.
